北京时间11月28日晚间，罗比威廉姆斯突然在社交网站发布视频宣布将于下周一（12月1日）发行全新专辑Under the Radar Volume I，作为送给所有RobbieWilliams.com官网上的Friendlies和“疯子”的礼物。
这张突如其来的专辑被命名为Under The Radar Volume I是一张特别的合集，其中收录的歌曲，因为种种原因没有能够最终被收录进录音室专辑中。在今晚宣布新专辑消息的视频中，罗比展示了他为一首名为Run It Wild的歌曲创作的画作。罗比个人十分喜欢Run It Wild这首歌曲，第一时间将它加入了Take the Crown巡演的歌单中，但是最后还是因为各种原因，没有机会在歌迷面前演唱。“这张专辑里有很多令我骄傲、我深爱的歌曲，我想让你们听到它们，否则的话它们将永远尘封在我的电脑中。”
罗比还向歌迷们透露了一个秘密。罗比的金牌制作人盖伊·钱布斯（Guy Chambers）其实反对罗比将这些歌曲拿出来发行的做法，他认为罗比的做法太过疯狂。“在盖伊看来，我不把这些歌放进一张在电台电视做过前期宣传、有后续巡演的正经专辑里简直是疯了。但我就是个冲动的傻瓜，我想要他们现在就发行！”
这张仅面向歌迷发行的专辑将于12月1日发行，目前三种版本已在罗比官网RobbieWilliams.com独家预售。歌迷可以选择数字下载，也可以购买实体专辑，同时还有签名版限量发售。
